Private Parties coming up

Just want to take note that Fiore’s will be closed for a Private Party on Monday, October 11th and also both Friday and Saturday evenings October 22 and 23rd. On all of those days we will be open for lunch as usual.

Fiore’s & Pignatiello Wine Imports Present Birthday Wine Dinner

August 29th is the birth date of two special people, Chef/Owner Anthony Cerrato of Fiore’s Ristorante and Gloria (wife of Steve Pignatiello). Anthony has decided to pull out all the stops for a one-of-a-kind birthday dinner to celebrate his and Gloria’s birthday. , Steve Pignatiello of course, will pull out all the stops with the wines.

If you have tasted Anthony’s cuisine, you know he makes flavors dance on your palate. His creations are succulent and wine friendly. For this dinner, he is creating a brand new course in the context of an exclusive 5-course menu that will pair well with my world-class wines. Speaking of wines, we’ll have at least 2 Premier Cru wines as well as at least 1 older vintage wine (maybe 2). Plus, Steve will have some surprises for the birthday kids. We are very excited to celebrate Anthony’s and Gloria’s common birthday with such a wonderful evening.

Biscotti-making class

On Sunday, June 13th, Anthony Cerrato will be teaching a class on how to make Biscotti!  The class will be held at the restaurant (122 College St.) from 1-3pm.  Cost is $20/person; Anthony will provide supplies and you will get to leave with some Biscotti to take home.  We appreciate it if you call ahead so we can have a head’s up! 828-281-0710

On Tuesday, February 2nd, we will be having a 5 Course Wine Dinner. The cost is $45 per person and will start at 6pm, and you will be greeted with a glass of Prosecco and and Antipasti dish.

The menu is as follows:

1st Course:
Smoked Oyster and Seafood Salad paired with Sella & Mosca La Cala Vermentino wine

2nd Course:
Hazelnut Encrusted Goat Cheese Salad over Arugula with Roasted Red and Yellow Peppers paired with Teruzzi & Puthod Svecodi Tuti

3rd Course:
Housemade Grilled Spinach Ravioli in a Sherry Tomato Cream Sauce with a Basalmic Glaze paired with Sella & Mosca Connonau Riserva

4th Course:
Duck and Figs with Broccolini and Roasted Red Pepper Risotto with a Red Wine Glaze paired with Sella & Mosca Terrerare Carignaue

5th Course:
Housemade Dark Chocolate Gelato with Pistachio and Cherry Biscotti

Snowy days in Asheville, NC

This past weekend, Asheville was hit with more snow than most of us have seen in a long time! Be sure to stay warm and drive safely! The roads to Fiore’s are cleared, so come on in for a hot Italian meal, and say “hi” to our Fiore’s Snowman mascot!
